How were you introduced to Synergy and why did you decide to build a business?
I had been a Synergy customer for many years and was absolutely thrilled with the turnaround in my own heath. As a family we take the products every day and I had always been impressed with the whole set up in terms of quality control etc.

A mutual friend introduced me to Teri Rigby and suggested that we meet the next time Teri was in London which is where I live. He said that he knew that we both would really get along and there were great things happening with the business. He was right, I met up with Teri soon after and we got on like a house on fire. She told me all of the exciting things that were happening and suggested that I take a look. I loved everything I saw but as I was running a large corporate company and had a lot of family commitments, I couldn’t see how I would have the time to build another business. Anyway, we agreed to keep in touch and the next time we met up I had a bit of a lightbulb moment. I took the leap and joined Synergy as a Team Member in February 2020.

Which is your favourite product and why?
That’s a bit like asking who is your favourite child but I would have to say ProAargi9. It was the very first product that I tried and still consume every day. It was the product that started to turn my whole health around with renewed energy and a much-improved sleep pattern which I desperately needed at the time.

What is a typical day for you when you are building your Synergy business?
I get up at 6.30am every day and after making sure my daughter gets off to school on time, I then attend to various household and admin chores. Synergy then takes priority and I now schedule two hours every morning dedicated to that. I call Team Members to see how they are doing and schedule training sessions into my diary. I work with them to invite as many people onto the various talks that we offer and also diarise the Lifestyle Analysis sessions with them for their customers. I do those mostly in the afternoons and evenings and give various talks throughout the week. I work an average of 20 hours per week on my Synergy business.

What would you say has been the biggest factor in your success so far?
Apart from having the best sponsor ever, I am working with incredible people who, like me, want to build a successful Synergy business. It is one of the key things for me that I am working with people who have the same goals and aspirations and I absolutely love it when one of my TM’s reaches their next goal. It is such an honour to help someone see the potential that they have as a successful business person and support them on that journey.

Has your sponsor and upline been a support to you in building your business?
I genuinely could not have asked for a better sponsor than Teri Rigby. She has been phenomenal in her support for me. She has taught me all the things that I have needed to know so far and has guided and advised me on a daily basis. When I first started, I was concerned that as a corporate person my knowledge of health and nutrition wasn’t great but Teri assured me from day one that my knowledge would grow and not to concern myself with those worries. She has been there to answer questions that I couldn’t and has been doing a huge number of talks for my team until we learned to do them by ourselves. We speak on a daily basis and she is my sounding board and support on good days and bad days. Let’s face it. We all have days when things don’t go according to plan and she is always there to support me and give more help and advice.

What key activities do you regularly engage in to help members of your team to grow their business?
Training is key and I always encourage TMs to register for as many of the trainings as they can. The monthly Marketing and Training Day has been so helpful in hearing how other colleagues in the UK are building the business, with lots of Product Information too. The weekly Synergy Business training, that Teri organises has been so helpful for all of us in our business building activities. I just love the fact that we are building our business with the ethos of Cooperation and not Competition as we all learn from each other regardless of whose team we are in. Not something you see or experience in the Corporate world!!!

I try to talk with my TM’s on a daily business and planning is also key. We plan out goals that my TMs want to achieve that month and we work towards those goals.

What goals have you reached so far and which ones are you working towards at the moment?
Well, having reached Team Leader for the first time in March I am now looking to consolidate that position and then go for Team Manager. Overall, I am committed to reaching the highest levels possible in the coming years. The most important thing for me is to find out the goals that my TMs have and in helping them to reach THEIR goals then I know that I will reach mine. That’s why finding out everyone’s WHY is without doubt the major key to success.

If you were to give one piece of advice to someone new joining Synergy, what would you tell them?
I would say that they should immerse themselves in all of the training and talks that are put on a weekly basis. You will learn so much about how to build the business and to commit a certain amount of time to your Synergy business every week. It doesn’t matter if that amounts to just a couple of hours twice a week at the beginning but if it’s absolutely Synergy time then your business will grow much quicker. (I know that’s two things but they are equally important)
