With the Elite Honours program in full swing, Team Members have been building stronger businesses through defined monthly goals.

In March, 345 Team Members in Europe became Elite Honours Qualified. That means at least 345 new distributors were enrolled and more than 1,000 customers latched onto Synergy products. Team Members who are becoming Elite Honours Qualified have found that the Elite Honours earnings model is exactly what their businesses were missing.

Congratulations to the many who are finding success through Elite Honours thus far! Here are a few insights from our newest Elite Honours Qualifiers regarding their success with the system:

Adrian and Sara Gregory
7x QUALIFIERS, UNITED KINGDOM

It was 2014 when Adrian and Sara joined Synergy as customers. Adrian is a business owner of 16 years, running a graphic design, web design, and print business based in the South of England. Sara is a registered nurse who trained with the Royal Navy and currently works as a senior manager within the care industry. Adrian and Sara made the decision to build a Synergy business at the Rome Summit in September of 2015 after meeting Dan Higginson and Paul Blad and hearing their vision for the future.

Now, Adrian and Sara have been Elite Honours qualified for the seventh consecutive month, and they only have good things to say about the program.

“The concept of the Elite Honours Club is nothing short of a stroke of genius,” Adrian said. “Elite Honours is a simple road map to success that anyone can follow with a little commitment and focus.”

For them, Synergy identified key ingredients to building a solid business from month to month and then incentivized and highlighted it for all to see. What makes Elite Honours so special is how accessible it is for all of Synergy’s Team Members.

Paula Harju
6x QUALIFER, FINLAND

Having a career in customer service, Paula Harju has been helping others throughout her life. She has a sincere love of interacting with others in hope of benefiting their lives in some way.

More than three years ago, Paula was attracted to the functionality, quality, and reliability of Synergy products. Now, she has been Elite Honours qualified for the sixth consecutive month and believes firmly in the Elite Honors program and what it offers to everyone.

“Elite Honours is accessible to all because everyone is on equal footing and it allows Team Members to create permanent growth,” she said.

Paula sees her Synergy team as a professional family, and has been impressed with the individuals that she works with.

“We have great team spirit and a fantastic up-line with Kati and Eric Gammals,” she said. “The most rewarding thing is knowing we are able to give new life to many other people.”

This new life Paula talks about stems from understanding how important personal development is to the quality of life. Through Synergy, Paula hopes to Leave a Legacy that allows her and those she interacts with to change their lives for the better by taking advantage of the opportunities Synergy offers.

The heaviest giant log squat in recorded history is 1,000 lbs. The most concrete bricks broken at one time with a single strike is 60. The heaviest fire truck harness pull is 36,000 lbs.  What do these world records have in common? ProArgi-9+ advocate and 54-year-old Strongman competitor Randy Richey of Scottsville, Kentucky.

For 30 years, Randy has been defying seemingly impossible stunts of strength in various weight lifting competitions, but it wasn’t until his late 30s that he entered the Strongman realm.

Randy currently holds eight world records and performs with his Strongman group Omega Force Strength Team in 75-100 carnivals, fairs, church functions and other events up and down the East Coast every year. They bend steel, pull tractor trailers, pull stacks of massive tires, bench press cars, bench press people, and flip cars over.

In 2013, Omega Force appeared on America’s Got Talent and impressed the judges enough to earn a pass to the second round in Las Vegas. Their episode was the most viewed of the season and aired five times because of its popularity.

That same year, Randy survived an invasive surgery, and his doctors were sure he would never be able to lift even moderately heavy objects, let alone compete. However, his love of training pushed him to maintain a healthy lifestyle so he could get back in the gym. After giving himself ample recovery time, Randy squatted 805 lbs. for 10 reps. As proof of his doctor’s amazement, a photo of Randy pushing through these reps is hanging in their office.

“I’m doing everything I did in my 30s and 40s, including training and competing,” Randy said.
According to Randy, one of the keys to maintaining strength of any proportion, especially for lifters who are not in their 20s and 30s anymore, is to make sure blood is circulating optimally. Muscle recovery is highly dependent on blood reaching the muscles and helping to build them back up.

“I recommend ProArgi-9+ to everyone,” Randy said. “There is a 78-year-old gentleman on the Omega Force team who is excited to see what it can do for him.”

With the Elite Honours program in full swing, Team Members have been building stronger businesses through defined monthly goals.

In January, 312 Team Members in Europe became Elite Honours Qualified. That means at least 312 new distributors were enrolled and more than 1,000 customers latched onto Synergy products.

Regina & Antti Ahola, Finland

Regina and Antti Ahola’s experience with Elite Honors has taught them the importance of making and keeping commitments. It has also taught them to follow through with their plans to achieve satisfying short-term goals. This is more gratifying than looking at long-term goals that may seem overwhelming when considered all at once.

Regina and Antti know how important it is to train and support an effective group of individuals. When the team is willing to follow the plan and meet short-term goals, the workload seems more reasonable for all those involved.

““It’s important to commit to an objective at the beginning of the month. Once the groundwork is complete, following up and helping Team Members commit to products becomes easier and more rewarding,” Antti said.

Jacek Cieślik, Poland

Jacek Cieślik believes Elite Honors is the key to defining small, attainable goals, and it is through these goals that big dreams are brought to fruition. Poland has a slightly modified Elite Honors system that caters to the market’s individual needs, and Jacek believes this change has been helpful to increased success.

“Using Elite Honors, we have a better chance of a more dynamic development of our structures and extra financial bonuses as well,” he said.

Though Jacek was building a successful business before Elite Honors was introduced, he is uncovering the various benefits of this new system. Jacek believes the most important thing about Elite Honors is that it must be duplicated to be effective. As an increasing number of individuals become Elite Honors qualified, increase volume throughout organizations will follow.

Marlis Hoffmann, Germany

Marlis appreciates the fact that Elite Honors encourages building relationships with customers. By building trust with a customer, the customer will begin to trust the company. Eventually, a satisfied customer will become a satisfied partner. This creates a sustainable income model if all those in an organization have mutual respect for each other and create the right “chemistry” as Marlis call it.

“The customer structure takes time,” Marlis said. “With the 90-day money-back guarantee customers can take the time to find out for themselves if the products are worth using. I believe the products speak for themselves, and if the customers are satisfied, they will continue to purchase. It’s as simple as that.”

Dr. Anthony Oketah has always been fascinated with the heart—the way it transports blood, the way it affects every other system and organ in the body, and its role in sustaining human life.

This passion turned him to cardiology and he has been practicing in this medical field for 15 years. However, there was something about his profession that was unsatisfying. He wanted to be able to do more for his patients. In addition, Dr. Oketah was born with an entrepreneurial spirit, always looking for an opportunity to create something bigger than himself, which is something that's more difficult to exercise as a doctor.

As he began to feel less fulfilled at work, Dr. Oketah began seeking a business opportunity that would allow him to do more and be more. Irish Team Director James Booth introduced ProArgi-9+ to Dr. Oketah and quickly Dr. Oketah knew he had found the opportunity he was looking for.

“I went through every bit of the Synergy website; I studied everything,” Dr. Oketah said. “I was so impressed by the company, its culture, and its business views. The Compensation Plan is unbelievable and I have confidence in it.”

As a respected figure among Ireland’s medical experts, Dr. Oketah makes a powerful statement as a Synergy distributor because he has an intricate understanding of how the products work to support optimal health. After visiting Synergy WorldWide Headquarters, touring the manufacturing facility, and visiting the Hughes Center for Research and Innovation in 2015, Dr. Oketah said he was impressed by the team of scientists and their “perfect” responses to his challenging questions. He witnessed the financial and physical investment Synergy put into creating the absolute best products for its customers.

Knowing that Synergy’s products and business opportunity had the capacity to make major changes in people’s lives, he took the business to the people in a country he cares for deeply: Nigeria. He travels to Nigeria monthly to meet with local doctors and disperse the product. Testimonials from happy consumers are flooding in.

“Some doctors are focused on money,” Dr. Oketah said. “When people come to me and say ‘Thank you for this product, thank you for helping me start this business, and thank you for helping my family,’ it gives me joy money can’t buy. As a doctor, I can’t give people employment, but through network marketing, I can.”

When considering his Synergy goals, Dr. Oketah realized that he couldn’t conduct his business the way he wanted to without sacrificing his medical career. He plans to give all of his time to Synergy WorldWide soon, and spend the majority of that time helping people in Nigeria get back on their feet.

“This business is about your personal ambition and your personal dream,” Dr. Oketah said. “You need to know what your main goal is and then you need to work, and you need to work hard. Anyone can be anything with this company. I’m so confident in this. What do you want to be? What are you looking for? I am so happy to have found Synergy.”

On a surprisingly cold and windy day in Tempe, Ariz., 51-year-old Synergy Team Member Xavier Marin plunged into Tempe Town Lake with hundreds of elite athletes to compete in his first IRONMAN triathlon in 10 years.

“The start of the swim is crazy for everyone,” Xavier said. “There is so much anxiety, so much energy. People are grabbing each other. When I finished the swim I couldn't wait to get on my bike. I felt strong when I was biking and steady when I was running.”

Thirteen hours and 11 minutes after he took off from the starting line, Xavier triumphantly crossed the IRONMAN Arizona finish line, which means he swam 2.4 miles, biked 112 miles, and ran 26.2 miles. Racers aren’t allowed any outside support, including headphones, which makes completing an IRONMAN both a mental and physical fete., The 6 ½ pounds Xavier lost on race day proves it.

Despite the sleet and rain, Xavier was able to keep the pace he maintained in the half Ironman he completed a few months before. He was even able to shave two hours off of his best time, proving that optimal health is attainable at any age. As a public speaker, life coach, general contractor, and father of two, Xavier knows how to take action to bring a vision to life.

“It was a year ago that I committed myself to be in my best shape of my life,” Xavier said. “I’ve been in great shape in the past, but I wasn’t into nutrition. I trained through the year with SLMsmart Meal Replacement, the V3 System, and e9.”

In his late 40s, Xavier said he was slower than he had ever been and figured old age was beginning to set in. When Xavier began taking Synergy products, he discovered improved endurance, the energy to push his body to go faster, and a timely recovery after training, which led him to believe that he was missing key nutritional elements in earlier training.

It was high priority that Xavier packed e9 and ProArgi-9+ for race day. He took ProArgi-9+ and e9 before the race and then every three hours throughout the 13-hour stint.

“The body is an amazing thing,” Xavier said, “you just have to take care of it. Mentally, people start telling themselves they are getting older. Before the race, people were asking, ‘Are you sure you can get this done?’ And I told them there is no way I’m not going to get it done.”

Xavier will add his Ironman victory to the many stories he uses to inspire others to take action on the things they want out of life.

“These products provide real benefits to professional and recreational athletes," Xavier said. "If you are an athlete that wants a cutting edge, Synergy products will help you sustain your energy levels, endure, and recover.”

Cathy McAleer is one tough woman, both mentally and physically, and is an elite athlete in mixed martial arts. Her schedule is booked with all things karate, from training herself and other karate champions to playing crucial roles in the operations of karate businesses throughout Ireland.

She is the Founder of NIKA (Northern Ireland Karate Academy) and runs two clubs in Queens Leisure Complex Holywood and Stormont Pavilion where she helps train a number of World, European, British and Irish champions. However, neither of these responsibilities are her full-time job. She works day-to-day as a general manager of one of Northern Ireland’s Virgin Active Health Clubs. In addition to being certified in sports massage therapy, Cathy has a bachelor’s degree in sports marketing.

Achievements:

• World WKC Kata Champion 2014
• World Kumite Karate Champion 2014
• WKC Silver Medalist 2014
• WKN European Full Contact Kickboxing Champion 2014
• WKN Draw for K1 World Champion 2014
• Undefeated Northern Ireland champion for 10 consecutive years
• 3rd Dan Karate Instructor and national coach for Northern Ireland

"Many people ask me how I fit it all in and also have the energy to compete and train,” Cathy said. “Synergy’s range of products has made a big difference."

Cathy began using the V3 System in June 2014 and found tremendous benefits after only three weeks. Her training regimen is intense and can do a lot of damage to her body, but Synergy products allow her to rain more regularly with excellent recovery. She was able to push herself to increase her runs from 3 miles to 6 miles, though she isn’t an avid runner.

All of Cathy’s associations in Ireland’s athletic scene have certainly helped her obtain an impressive customer volume by sharing Synergy products.
Cathy’s next competitive fight will be at the World Open Martial Arts Games in Geneva in September where she will compete in kickboxing.

“A goal of mine is to have two world titles in two different sports, and on September 13 that dream will hopefully come true,” Cathy said. “Each of Synergy’s products contributes to my success in different ways. Thank you so much Synergy for your world class products!”

We wish you the best of luck Cathy and are proud that you are part of the Synergy family!

Exhausted yet determined, IAM Cycling’s Mathias Frank battled downpours and slick pavement to climb his way to 8th place in the overall classification after the final push on Les Champs-Elysées in Paris. Mathias was the first Swiss rider since 1999 to earn a spot in the Top 10.  While Mathias’s ranking was the biggest victory for IAM Cycling, the team was able to take 9th place overall, which was a solid placement for this new team.

IAM Cycling Founder Michel Thétaz said: “We achieved the goal we set early on in this season, which we reiterated at the start of the race. My group of riders showed themselves to be strong and at the front often, which was topped with a fantastic 3rd place from Pantano in Gap and a 6th place in the team time trial. The guys have really applied themselves and worked hard to help Frank earn his 8th place in the overall. We will come back in 2016 with Mathias Frank to return to the Top 10, and win some stages. As our leader, Frank, has extended his contract, and we are confident that he will live up to all our expectations.”

“I have not regretted one second of every sacrifice I have made to get here,” Mathias said. “After two failed attempts, I managed to meet the challenge and finish in the top-10.  This is a great accomplishment for the whole team who was a huge help to me and believed in me. I am not about to forget these moments of emotion once I climb off my bike.”

Synergy is proud to have provided world-class products to aid IAM Cycling’s performance and recovery support throughout the Tour de France. Congratulations, Team IAM Cycling! We look forward to watching continued victories in the World Tour and in next year’s Tour de France.

Nina Djordjevič’s list of athletic accomplishments is extensive, to say the least. She discovered her talent for long jump at age 9 when she began practicing with a track and field team. Nina was a natural! Her performance at meets turned heads and before she knew it she was competing in the World Junior Championship finals. Before receiving a full-ride scholarship to Kansas State University’s track and field team, Nina won the bronze medal in long jump at the Youth Olympic Games.

Her success continues to soar and her long jump achievements are almost too many to count:

• Finals in long jump in Athletic European Championship in Zurich, 2014
• 12th place in indoor Athletic European Championship in Praha, 2015
• Slovenian national champion in long jump
• Placed 4th in NCAA championship
• 2-time All-American athlete
• Silver medal inn Big 12 conference championships
• Holds long jump record at Kansas State University
• Best Student Athlete at Kansas State University, 2011
• First team of best student athletes in the U.S.

Nina was introduced to Synergy products by a friend who trusted the products to help her get fit after her pregnancy. Because her friend is a doctor, Nina decided she could trust the products too. She started by taking the V3 System products—ProArgi-9+, Mistify and Phytolife—and said it didn’t take long to notice that the products were having a positive impact on her health.

Now, she relies heavily on e9 and ProArgi-9+, appreciating that both products give her energy boosts in a pinch while enhancing her overall health with high-quality ingredients. Mistify and Phytolife are also staples in her daily health routine because their many potent ingredients contribute to her overall wellbeing. While she heals from a foot injury, Nina still takes the products regularly to help in the recovery process.

Ultimately, Nina aims to compete in the Olympics and World Indoor Championship, letting Synergy products play a part in getting her there.

At 21, Synergy Team Member Harriet Rautio uprooted her life in Sweden where she had been attending dance school to move to New York City and take her dance training to a new level.

Though she moved far away from her family and home in Finland, Harriet was excited to make the Broadway Dance Center her new home. She continues to study a variety of dance styles at the Broadway Dance Center with future plans of becoming a Broadway dancer herself. She also has dreams of joining an international contemporary dance company.

After figure skating for 6 years, Harriet was ready to try something new, which is why at 11 years old she took her first dance lesson. She found right away that she was deeply passionate about dance, and in her teen years she committed up to 20 hours per week to mastering the craft. Throughout her dance career, Harriet has spent the majority of her time developing her skills in ballet, jazz, contemporary and salsa, and recently showed off those skills in the New York Dance Parade.

“I love the feeling I get when I dance,” Harriet said. “There is nothing like going into an empty studio by yourself, turning on the music that inspires you, and losing yourself in movement.”

While a life of eating, breathing and dreaming dance can be draining, to say the least, Harriet has found a way to endure through the ever-present muscle fatigue and make the most of every class or training. By taking ProArgi-9+ and e9 before these workouts, Harriet has found that even her most demanding days are manageable. Not only has her physical performance enhanced, her alertness has intensified.

“Dancing is much more physically demanding than some may think it is,” Harriet said. “I have to make sure that I don’t get injured. It’s easy to pull muscles if you don’t warm up correctly and it’s just as easy to exhaust your body by not giving it the right nutrition.”

She started using SLMsmart Meal Replacement after the product launched in October 2014 and was one of the first athletes to tell Synergy WorldWide that she used the product for athletic support. For Harriet, SLMsmart Meal Replacement is the perfect recovery drink after a day of pirouettes and plies.

“I love sharing Synergy products with those who I know can benefit from them,” Harriet said. “I know there a lot of people, including dancers, who are looking for the kinds of results that I’ve found with these products.”

Upon meeting 70-year-old John McDermott, you may learn that he is a Synergy Team Member and that he is of Irish descent. What you may not guess, though, is that John can probably run faster than you.

He currently holds several Ireland and United Kingdom track and field records in events ranging from the 200-meter dash to the 300-meter hurdles to the decathlon. These records were not achieved 50 years ago as you may have assumed. These records were set in the last few years. Last year, John added international medals to his growing list of accomplishments including a gold medal in the 300-meter hurdles, a silver medal in the 400-meter hurdles, and a bronze medal in the decathlon at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest.

He competes against other Master Athletes in his 70-74 age range and is among the best runners of his age group in the world. Out of all the products in the world he could use to sustain his athletic stamina John loves and relies on Synergy’s V3 System—ProArgi-9+, Mistify and Phytolife.

“For Master Athletes, health and wellness is more of an issue than it is for younger athletes. Luck and genes are of course a major factor in keeping fit and injury-free and I appreciate how lucky I am to be able to do what I do,” he said.

However, in addition to luck, it takes an extreme passion for the sport and long hours of training to maintain John’s athletic endurance at the elite level. Because of this, John trusts Synergy’s V3 System to help maximize his training efforts.

“I truly believe Synergy’s V3 products contribute significantly to my nutrition, performance levels and overall wellness. My diet and training routine is helping me beat competitors who were faster than me a few years ago,” he said.

This year, he is ready to take on the World Masters Championships in Lyon, France, where he will be competing in the decathlon, the 300-meter hurdles, and the 400-meter dash.

Kjell Tore Solvang coached Norway’s national rowing team and led them to win three Olympic gold medals, four World Championship gold medals and four European Championship gold medals. He is Norway’s most successful coach in summer sports.

Working in a culture with world-champion endurance athletes, Kjell understands that there are few limits to what the body can do. He believes that if you want to accomplish an amazing physical feat you simply need to train hard and never stop training. It’s all about priorities. Though he has lead rowing teams to victory time and time again, he believes there is still more to achieve.

This is why on May 2, 2015, just a few days ago, Kjell embarked on the most exhausting and trying excursion of his life.

Kjell will spend the next four months rowing 10-12 hours per day, taking himself around the Norwegian Coastline from the Swedish coast to the Russian border. This is, undoubtedly, a painstaking task, but Kjell has an additional motive to complete the journey: raising money for children suffering from brain tumors.

He’ll fish for food, sleep in his boat or in a tent on the shore, and have a constant supply of Synergy product—ProArgi-9+, Mistify, Phytolife and e9—to fuel his endurance.

His journey will be followed and broadcast on one of Norway’s biggest television stations. Synergy WorldWide will follow Kjell’s odyssey through the summer, cheering him on from Utah’s corporate office and around the world.

The Sahara Desert is one of the most inhospitable places on earth. Beneath the scorching Moroccan sun, temperatures regularly soar above 50 degrees C.  It is here, pelted by wind-whipped sands while fending off thirst and fatigue, that champions are forged in the seven-day, 256km Marathon des Sables.

For the past 28 years, ultra-runners have flocked to this desolate landscape, eager to take on what’s known as “the toughest footrace in the world”. This year’s event found Synergy customer Grégoire Chevignard among its racers, a place he would have never envisioned himself a few years prior. He relied heavily on Synergy products to fuel him through his journey and finished the race strong sporting a Synergy-branded T-shirt and a smile of relief.

Grégoire would be the first to tell you that he is not a professional athlete. He has a regular, full-time job and a busy home life in Paris with his wife and three children. His racing experience began relatively modestly. After a 19 year hiatus from finishing his first and only marathon, he and his brothers signed up for a 10K as a family bet. Their terrible finishing times only fueled their competitive spirit; they immediately signed up for the Paris Marathon in April of 2014, giving them six months to train for the event.

As the event approached, Grégoire felt doubt creeping in, but instead of cancelling his entry he successfully diverted his pre-marathon panic by signing up for an even tougher race after the Paris Marathon. Now he would be worried about his 63K trail race the next month, which made the impending marathon seem like a much milder challenge. And thus his love for running began. In the past year, he has tackled more than a dozen races of varying distances (anywhere from 10K – 105K).

This is 21-year-old mountain biking pro Oskar Macuk—Szczecin native, daredevil and Synergy enthusiast. If you happen to catch a mountain biking competition in Poland or its surrounding countries, you’ll most likely spot Oskar throwing endless backflips and barspins in zebra pants. What powers his performance, you ask? ProArgi-9+ and e9, to name a few.

“Synergy products are an important part of training for me because they help me push my limits as an athlete,” Oskar said.

While Oskar is best known for his insatiable appetite for adrenaline and jaw-dropping stunts, he is also a dedicated student studying physiotherapy and a classic rock fan who dreams of traveling the world one mountain biking competition at a time.

He lives the Dalai Lama’s words: “In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positive vision,” a sentiment that is right in line with Synergy values.

We’re honored that competitive and inspiring athletes like Oskar are adding Synergy products to their training routines. Can’t wait to see the stunts that Oskar pulls next!

Mathias Brändle, a 24-year-old professional cyclist from Austria who is a member of the Synergy-sponsored team IAM Cycling, beat a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) record by cycling 51.852 km in one hour. This distance beat cyclist Jens Voigt’s previous record by .742 km.

Brändle conquered his goal in front of 900 spectators on the World Cycling Center’s 200-meter track in Aigle, Switzerland. He said the crowd’s support helped him keep his eye on the finish and never lose focus.

“The closer the hour comes, the easier it is, because you know it is coming to an end and you can handle the pain,” Brändle said. “First, I was sure with 30 minutes that I could do it, but then I had a difficult period. I hoped I could recover, and in the end it was enough. I’m really happy about it.”

This unbelievable fete is a true testament of the caliber of athletes Synergy WorldWide is sponsoring. Athletes like Brändle trust Synergy products and rely on them to perform at the level Brändle displayed during his record-breaking ride.

In an interview with Synergy Scandinavia’s General Manager Bengt Emanuelsson, Brändle said he values what ProArgi-9+ has done for his health and fitness in all aspects of cycling, but is especially pleased with the way it has helped his performance in races.

“In stage races, ProArgi-9+ helps me maintain normal muscle function – it helps me fight tiredness and fatigue,” Brändle said. “This is also what makes the difference.”

Synergy WorldWide is honored to support athletes, such as Mathias Brändle, in their pursuit of greatness and would like to congratulate Brändle and the IAM Cycling team on this admirable accomplishment. Many more great accomplishments are sure to come.

If you had asked them five years ago whether or not they could hike 70 kilometers and spend eight days in the wilderness, they would have thought you were crazy for even asking.

However, a few weeks ago, Salme Ala-Heikkilä and Reijo Ojanen, a couple in their mid-sixties, conquered what they once thought was impossible. Many years ago, Salme and Reijo hiked regularly, but health issues made it difficult to continue this hobby. Now, hiking is something they look forward to together.

They left their hometown of Tampere, Finland and traveled 14 hours to Utsjoki where they found beautiful rivers and rolling hills close to the border of Norway. Close to this city is the Kaldoaivi Wilderness Area where Salme and Reijo started their journey.

Their backpacks were loaded and ready to go, Salme’s pack weighed 18 kg, which is almost one-third of her total weight. Reijo’s pack weighed 26 kg, and some of its contents were Synergy products.

“Leaving our products at home wasn’t a thought that ever crossed our minds,” Reijo said. “It wasn’t hard to take the extra weight because need them. They were worth carrying because they helped us through our adventure.”

The pair claims they have never been the athletic or very active type, especially in the last decade of their life as exercise has become more straining on their bodies. However, they love the outdoors and the chance to get away from people, electronics and the sounds of the city. They can rest their minds, listen to the birds and replenish the energy they were lacking in their daily lives.

“We enjoy taking in the nature, and it’s great to be able to have natural products in this setting that gave us the energy we needed to complete the 70 kilometers,” Salme said.

Thank to Synergy products, Salme and Reijo plan to make this 8-day hiking tour an annual tradition. Their fantastic health is what allows them to seize the days and moments in their lives, to live every day with energy and excitement. When they introduce Synergy to those they meet, one of the messages they share is that Synergy products can be the ticket to rekindling the passions and dreams you gave up years ago.

“We love being a part of Synergy,” Salme said, “and we love that we can be adventurous again. We want people to know there are products that can help them change their lives like we have changed ours.”
