Team Manager Academy Reflections

This year I felt very blessed to be able to attend Team Manager Academy at the Team Leader level as a result of the UK promotion which ran from February to May 2014.

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish, and I soon realised what a pivotal point in your Synergy career attendance to TMA is. Being the only person from my team that attended this year, my number one thought was how many people could I help attend TMA next year. I clearly understand now that once you attend TMA, there is no shadow of a doubt that you will want to go back the following year bringing individuals from your team with you. Therefore, it soon became obvious how important it is to strive to get yourself there, because the passion and purpose behind this goal starts with you and then ricochets onto your team when you come home and share your experiences.

I found there is great value in making connections with other European leaders. They give me so many creative ideas, and I've learned a lot by listening to their business ideas. This, in itself, was a valuable learning experience.

From an emotional point of view, you feel so very supported by Synergy the company and the other leaders. The sheer luxury of the surroundings and hotel were so breath-taking; it was clear that Synergy is deeply grateful for all we do as I was left feeling deeply grateful that Synergy found me.

Events like TMA--and the forthcoming Barcelona Summit in September--re-affirm the belief that you can achieve greatness and abundance. The leadership training will inspire you and help you to become an inspiring leader yourself. It cannot be emphasised enough that spending quality time with people who are positive, solution-oriented, genuinely care about others and do all they can to focus on your success rather than their own is deeply rewarding to the soul.

I look forward to seeing you at Team Manager Academy next year!



Spanish Market Under New Management

Due to Synergy’s growth in Western Europe, Synergy Italy’s General Manager Raffaella Orlandi will now oversee all business affairs in Spain, allowing Western Europe General Manager Rob Lord to invest more time into growing the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Ireland markets.

“I am excited to continue our growth in the UK and Ireland, and I’m looking forward to re-launching our business in the Netherlands and developing new leadership there,” Rob said. “I will miss working with our diligent Spanish leaders, but with Raffaella’s experience and her understanding of the Spanish language, she will be an invaluable asset to the market.”

Rob has done exceptional work managing Spain and we are grateful for the groundwork he has done there to cultivate passionate leaders and give them the tools they need to succeed. Raffaella admits she has big shoes to fill as she steps into Rob’s previous role over Spain, but she is anxious to get to work.

“Taking care of the Spanish market represents a true challenge for me because I’ll need to work as well as Rob did,” Raffaella said. “I can only commit myself to further the incredible power of the Spanish Team Members—each of them has the potential to be the highest-ranking Team Member in Europe!”

Raffaella’s business history in Spain and ability to speak the Spanish language fluently makes her a perfect match for this position moving forward.

“I am eager to serve the Spanish network with a strong work ethic, and I’m eager to promote a mission that will be known throughout Spain: Si, se puede!”

How were you introduced to Synergy and what attracted you?

I was at a business meeting a couple of years ago and one of the participants was talking about Synergy and how it was the first time he was willing to put his professional name behind any product. I was immediately intrigued as I had crossed paths with this man previously in other health and business circles and was aware of his thorough professional manner with regard to everything in life.

At the time the biggest attraction was the quality of the products and how I could incorporate the V3 into my Acupuncture clinic. I went to many meetings in the early months with my list of nutritional questions. All were answered beyond my expectations and from that day to the present, Synergy, in all aspects, has continued to impress me.

Which is your favourite product and why?

I think in relation to my work, Mistify has a particular appeal. With many sports injuries, I have to work quite deeply on the tissues of the body and if there are too many people who need deep tissue work in any given week, my wrist and thumb joints can complain. Mistify is my savior here as 60mls extra before bed will bring any inflammation down by the morning.

What is a typical day for you when you are building your business?

Only yesterday I spent four hours with one of my downline team in Starbucks. Over lunch & coffee we discussed the compensation plan as well as many other common interests.
We both noted how we had just passed half a “working day” and yet not for a minute did we feel we were at work! I think that’s the real wealth of Synergy at times – how you can spend an average Friday afternoon at work and enjoy every moment of it. And yes, this would be a typical day!

Synergy Team Conquers 200-mile Relay

Twelve of Synergy’s corporate employees embarked on an adventure across Utah’s majestic Wasatch Mountain Range in the RAGNAR Relay. They piled into two vehicles, packing enough ProArgi-9+, e9 energy drink mix and the nutrient-dense SLMsmart Meal Replacement, to fuel them through an intense and unforgettable challenge.

Each runner had to finish three legs of the course, whether it was 3 a.m., in the heat of the day or on rocky trails. Synergy’s team, the RG9 Pros, endured and finished in the Top 20 percent of all its competitors. Each runner extends a sincere thank you to Synergy WorldWide for making the opportunity possible.

"It is awesome to be a part of a company that supports this kind of activity and adventure," said Marketing Manager Jake Rothfels. "It was such a blast. Every person on our team pushed themselves and did a fantastic job. It really was a privilege to do this crazy race with each of them. I’m grateful for Synergy supporting us the whole way."
