Synergy WorldWide and Nature’s Sunshine share the healing power of nature with people in need through the Impact Foundation. The foundation works to increase awareness of nature’s healing power, create meaningful service opportunities, and engage with charitable organizations that align closely with the mission of our company.

OUR IMPACT
Founded in 2019, the Impact Foundation has already begun to make an impact around the world:

Miles For Meals
Our 5k run/walk #MilesForMeals raised funds to end hunger. All the proceeds raised from this event went to the Utah Food Bank Mobile Pantry Program allowing us to sponsor a school in our hometown community. Synergy’s corporate employees engage in charitable giving by bringing food to children at our sponsored school every month.
Coronavirus Relief
This year, the Impact Foundation donated more than $90,000 to aid medical workers fighting the Coronavirus in China. The funds donated helped the affected areas—including Wuhan—with much needed medical resources like masks, goggles, and protective clothing. These items provided protection for frontline medical workers, enabling them to give the best care possible to those infected with the virus.

Vitamin Angels
The Impact Foundation also recently partnered with Vitamin Angels, donating $25,000 to their cause of providing lifesaving vitamins to mothers and children under five at risk of malnutrition—reducing preventable illness, blindness, and death.

In an effort to better "share the healing power of nature," the Impact Foundation donated $25,000 to Vitamin Angels, a charity dedicated to supporting children and pregnant women around the world.

“Through Vitamin Angels, our donation will provide vital nutrients to 100,000 children” said Nate Brower, President of the Impact Foundation. “We are excited to partner with such a great organization. They truly reflect our mission of Sharing the Healing Power of Nature.”

With a reach extending to over 70 million individuals in over 70 countries, the Vitamin Angels provide lifesaving vitamins to mothers and children, reducing preventable illness, blindness, and death. Ranked by Charity Navigator as one of the "10 Best Humanitarian Relief Organizations," the Vitamin Angels organization is a reputable affiliate with whom the Impact Foundation is proud to partner.

Video-Transcript

Good afternoon from Synergy WorldWide. Today we come to you live via webcam and I am joined by Dr. Noah Jenkins from the Hughes Center for Research and Innovation. How are you Dr. Jenkins?

Doing well. Thanks for having me.

Alright! Thanks for joining us today as we talk about human immune function. Dr. Jenkins, what are some recommendations you have for anybody who is trying sincerely to boost their immune system right now?

Well, there are some very simple things that we can do. I’d say: adequate sleep & exercise, to avoid toxins or toxic behaviors in our life like smoking or junk-foods. And third, a big one, is to avoid micronutrient deficiencies.

Can you talk to how products like Mistify, Phytolife and ProArgi-9+ (the V3 system) and why is it that we are able to confidently and accurately claim that those support human immune function?

Well I really love the idea behind “synergy” being the name of the company. Because this V3 pack also works synergistically to really boost the immune system. ProArgi-9+ has arginine in it, which acts as a raw material to actually build up a lot of those immune cells. As well as supplying your body arginine for all of its other benefits.

Your immune cells – a lot of them produce an enzyme called arginase when they are activated and actually breaks down your arginine stores. So you want to make sure you have enough supplemental arginine to keep those levels up -boosted high.

The Mistify and the Phytolife are antioxidant products. And antioxidant status is really important for your immune system.

You want to have a really good oxidative status and these two products work from the outside in and from the inside out. They really work well in conjunction.

The Phytolife has chlorophyll, which turns on your body’s own antioxidant enzymes. To help protect your cells from the inside out. And then Mistify is supplying a lot of very powerful antioxidants from the outside in. To help quench those free radicals and give your body good oxidative status and overall immune system support.

I know that the V3 system has this vitamin profile that you mentioned. The vitamin B6, B12, vitamin C, Vitamin D. Scientifically, how is it that these vitamins support immune function?

Yeah, so they are very good vitamins for immune function. First of all vitamin B and 6 are involved in pretty much every energy-producing enzymatic pathway in your body.

So your body - your immune system’s responses take a lot of these pathways and energy activations systems to work correctly.

These vitamins are cofactors of those enzymes. Necessary components of those reactions.

Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant helping the oxidative status of your body, but it is also a raw material for some classes of immune-cells to be built up in the right fashion as well. Vitamin D helps turns on transcription factors or proteins that turn on your DNA to produce some materials that your immune-cells use to fight off things they need to fight off.

Alright, so with my last few seconds with you here, is there any other advice that you would give for people trying to boost their immune system?

Remember to wash your hands. First line of defense.

I love it! That is great advice.

Dr. Noah Jenkins from Synergy WorldWide and the Hughes center for research and innovation, we thank you! And to all of our viewers we thank you for your time.

Can you remember a time in your life when you felt invincible? Sometimes, unfortunately, when life throws you a curve ball and disrupts your normal routine, nutrition is often the first thing to suffer.

To highlight the importance and show our continued dedication to your Elite Health, we are offering a special promotion for a limited time only! This temporary product pack is available through April 13th.
