Summit 2014 - Know Before You Go

Q. When will Summit 2014 officially begin?
A. The Summit will kick off with an Opening Reception on Thursday, September 25 at 19:30. The reception will be held at the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos Pool & Gardens. The first session starts at 10:30 on Friday, September 26t in the Palau De Congressos de Catalunya Auditorium.

Q. When will Summit 2014 end?
A. The Summit is scheduled to end at 18:00 on Saturday, September 27.

Q: Will food and drink be served at the opening reception?
A: Food will not be served. However, Synergy will provide each attendee with one complimentary drink ticket. You must pay cash for additional drinks; credit cards will not be accepted

Q. When can I check in to the event?
A. Registration begins on Thursday, September 25 from 16:00-20:00 and continues on Friday, September 26 at 8:00 and Saturday, September 27 at 9:00.
Check-in is located on the Main Level of the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya. Your name tag will be your entry into the sessions.

Q. Will translation equipment be available?
A.  A booth will be located in the registration area where you will pick up your translation headset. You will be required to provide your name and Synergy ID number. You will be charged a 300€ fee if you fail to return this headset at the end of the last session. The card you provided at registration will be charged.

Q. What is the dress code for the Summit?
A. Dress for most activities is business casual. For the recognition evening, many like to wear formal attire (cocktail dresses for ladies, jackets and ties for men). Formal attire is also requested at the VIP Reception.

A. Friday, September 26

Q. What are the Summit Store payment options?
A. All forms of payments that are accepted when purchasing online will be accepted at the Summit Store. Cash will not be accepted.

Q. Can products be shipped home? 
A. Yes, we will be working with the same ordering system. You will need to pay the standard shipping fee. Shipping on merchandise will not be available

Q. Do you have to attend the Summit to get the promotions? 
A. Only team members attending the Summit can receive Summit specials.
Returns will not be allowed. A Final sale policy will apply to all product and merchandise.

Q. Will meal tickets be available to purchase onsite?
A. No, unfortunately all meal tickets have to be purchased in advance.

Q. If I opted out of the meal plan, where else can I get lunch?
A. Barcelona’s city center provides a variety of dining options, but is a ten-minute taxi ride from the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya.

Q. Will there be assigned seating during the General Sessions?
A. During the first General Session we will assign seating by country to help coordinate the Parade of Nations portion of the event. Seating during all other sessions will not be assigned.

Q. What are Country Meetings?
A. Country Meetings held with just the distributors in your market and will be hosted by your General Manager.

Q. I received an invite to the VIP Reception, what are the details?
A. The VIP Reception will be held in the Hotel Rey Juan Carlos Garden Restaurant from 20:00-22:00 and will include dinner and entertainment. Attendees are asked to dress in formal attire—women in cocktail dresses and men in suits. Those who received an invitation to this reception will have a VIP Reception emblem on the name badge they are given at registration. This emblem will be each attendee’s ticket into the reception.

Q. What is the VIP Lounge?
A. All Team Elites and above are invited to relax in the VIP Lounge area throughout the Summit. Team Members with access to the lounge will have a VIP Lounge emblem on their name tag that gives them access to the lounge. Each VIP will be permitted to bring one guest with them into the lounge to enjoy beverages and light snacks

Q. What is VIP Checkout?
A. Inside the Synergy Store at the Summit, all those with a VIP Checkout emblem on their name tag can enjoy faster checkout. Simply look for the VIP Checkout register when you are ready to make a purchase.
